Meeting each Sunday at 8:45 for conversation and coffee, our Coffee Café provides a time for encouragement and fellowship with believers.
Call to prayer
At 9:11 each Sunday morning, we meet at the altar in the sanctuary for a time of prayer to God for our requests.
Adult Sunday school
This class will enrich your understanding of the Bible, your Christian faith, and will equip you with the tools necessary to determine your place in the body of Christ. It will ground you in the doctrines of the Word of God and grow your faith by taking the principles learned and applying them to your daily life.
Teens
If you’re tired of pretending to be someone that you’re not . . . quit playing the game. You will find real friendships and support here. The common bond is that we all want to know God personally and live His purposes in our lives. Our Youth Group is full of teens going through many of the same situations as you. Teens come from different backgrounds and families to form a “family” of their own. We hope you’ll find a friendly spirit and welcoming attitude at Liberty. So come on in, we’re waiting to meet you!
Children’s Ministries
Sunday School classes
Proverbs 22:6 says, ”Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. “ Here at Liberty, we endeavor to impart the truths of God’s Word into the lives of children at an early age. God has mandated that parents should be the primary teachers in their child’s life. Deuteronomy 6:5-7 says, ”And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.” As a church, we desire to come along side the family unit and help by having age appropriate classes so that each child will have an opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel. Our loving teachers will reinforce foundational Biblical truths concerning creation, Jesus, salvation, and living for God. Your children will come home singing new songs, quoting verses they have memorized, displaying their crafts, and sharing with you important truths they are learning from the Bible.
Liberty Kids’ Club
For many years our church has had an impact on children through our Wednesday Night Children’s Club. We want to continue to make an impact and see lives changed through this program. We trust that you will make plans to join us each and every Wednesday night for Liberty Kids’ Clubs!
Nursery
Our nursery facilities are fully equipped and staffed by caring volunteers. They are committed to your child’s well-being and growth. You can be confident that your child will be well taken care of in this beautiful facility. Parents can have peace of mind while they attend one of the adult Bible classes or one of the worship services. Nursery is provided for all services.
Nursing Home
Each Sunday, we visit a nursing home in our area to share the Gospel of Christ with those who cannot attend our services. These services include singing, preaching and a time of fellowship. We strive to make each resident’s day a little brighter by the time we leave.
Wednesday Prayer Meeting
Each Wednesday evening at 7:00, we meet in the sanctuary for an uplifting time of preaching followed by a time of sharing one another’s burdens in prayer.
Missions
Jesus commanded His people to “Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature.” Liberty Baptist Church is endeavoring to reach the lost, both at home and abroad, with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to see souls saved and discipled. As God calls and directs, we will commission, support, and send forth others to the fields that are ripe unto harvest. It is our sincere desire to be completely supportive of our missionaries and their ministries. We consider our supported missionaries a vital part and extension of our church family, ministry, and purpose as an independent Baptist church.
Ladies Missionary Fellowship
The Ladies Missionary Fellowship is a ladies ministry where women can fellowship with one another while participating in Bible devotions, prayer, and planning projects for the church, the community, and missionaries. The Ladies Missionary Fellowship is held the second Monday of each month at 6:30 pm at the church. We welcome all women to attend.
